How it works
Point your phone at the parking sign and Parkr reads it, then checks the clock against the posted rules to give you one verdict for right now: green to park, red to move along, or yellow to double-check something first.
In Los Angeles, Parkr also cross-checks live city curb data such as meters and permit zones. Elsewhere, it honestly reads the posted sign only.
What it can and can't do
Parkr is a reading aid, not the law. Painted curbs, faded text, and temporary signs can be hard to read, so a yellow verdict means verify the sign yourself before you leave the car.
Street sweeping is the one rule a sign may not show, so Parkr surfaces it as a caveat when it applies. Always trust the physical sign and the curb over any app.
